Weekend Adventures

We have been very lucky in Rexburg to still be having warm weather.

Friday we went out on a double date... Cassie & Jared and Tyler & me went bowling, then went out for some ice cream and a late meal. We came home after that and watched a movie...

This last weekend we were able to spend all day outside. We started off the morning hiking "R" mountain-the butte, which was a fun little hike.

Tyler and I then went fishing for about 4 hours. We went on a new adventure, we had Tyler's grandpa drop us off at a bridge a mile from the house. Then we walked, climbed, pushed our way through thorny bushes, through the wilderness and the river. It was about two miles following the snaking Teton river. Scratched and tired we went home to clean ourselves up, then went to a bonfire with some friends. We roasted hot dogs, smores and starbursts. We had to help pull a few cars and trucks out of the sand. There was a moment when we thought we would be stuck too, but the big truck made it out.

We all had a great time enjoying the warm weather....we are still crossing our fingers that it might last a little longer. But this weekend doesn't look very promising
