Sorry for being a slacker

I just realized that it has been over a month since I last posted anything on my blog...Lots of things have been going on since then. Thanksgiving has come and gone, as well as Christmas.
For Thanksgiving I was able to fly home the same day as Sam and Liberty. It was great getting to spend a little extra time with them before the rest of the clan arrived. Every member of my family was here for diner on turkey day! There was a lot going on...we were also able to have the missionaries over as well. I also went to two receptions for old friends. It was great seeing them.
It was a lot of fun spending time with all of my loved ones!

My trip back to Rexburg was well...a mess!
Here is a look at all of my boarding passes and hotel key and bill.

I should have arrived in Rexburg on Monday night at 1030. I didn't get there until Tuesday at 630pm. First I was going from San Jose, to Boise, to Idaho Falls. Sounds easy, but not. My flight was delayed a little, there was a chance that we wouldn't be able to land in Boise due to heavy fog. So we were rerouted to Seattle. I don't know why all the way to Seattle, SLC was closer. So they took us completely out of the way. There weren't any flights out to Boise or SLC that night. I got the earliest flight possible, but still had to stay at a hotel for the night. The airline didn't reimburse us or pay for the hotel. But I got it at a discount. Checking in the next morning was a mess as well, it took longer then it should have because someone didn't fill out the paper work right the night before. I finally left Seattle at 7am, then landed in Boise an hour later. Then went to look for my next flight. It wasn't anywhere on the monitors. I asked a lady at the counter and she said it was a PM flight. The guy who booked me on this flight said I would be in Idaho Falls by morning. Since I was already missing 2 days of school. This was not good. I tried all that I could to get on another flight but there seemed no hope. Then there was an opening on a flight to SLC then to Idaho Falls later that afternoon. I ended up spending 7 hours in the Boise airport. By the way, it is a small airport and very boring. My next flight was late, so I barely made my connect flight into IF. I ran back to my gate, then ran out to the plane. The lady who scanned my ticket said she was closing the gate as I ran up. What luck! so I finally got to my apartment at 630, where I had to shower and eat dinner in 20 minutes. I then went to a study group for a state test I had to take that week.
Stayed tuned...more to happenings to come.
