On Friday night I received some great news! I was checking my email before I went to bed, when I noticed that I had received an email from the student teaching placement specialist on campus. She went through a bunch of stuff before she got to the juicy part. At the very end she said that she had posted our sites on our school account. I quickly logged on and searched very hard for where she had posted (crossing my fingers the whole time that my internet would continue to work). I finally found where she posted it. In the fall I will be student teaching in....
LAS VEGAS!!!
I got so excited that I had to tell someone. I thought about calling my mom, but it was close to 1AM her time and decided against it. So I ran downstairs and told my roommates. I tried to yell it, but I didn't have a voice from being sick.
I will finally live where it is warmer then -20 during the coldest part of winter. J I am so excited to be living there I have heard many great things about the schools, church wards, and people there. I will be a little closer to California. Feel free to come and visit me while I am there! I should start teaching around August 15th until November 20th (Give or take a few days).
I am looking forward to this change in my life, but I am a little scared. I love a challenge and a new experience!
