Herbert Glacier Hike

Instead of going to wash crew last week, my roommates and I decided that we should sleep in then go on a hike.  After a while of reading over the trail maps we decided on Herbert Glacier.  Looked easy on the map so why not?  Well it was easy but long and flat.  It got a little boring, but once we reached mile marker 4 the trail got a little bit more exciting.
All flat....
little lake along the way
Jamie and I on the river bed
Reminds me of the Salmon River in Idaho

Andrew didn't make it all the way across the creek
the river flow from the glacier
Half way through Andrew and Robert had to stretch their legs.
The boys were a little slow
I absolutely love hiking here in Alaska, its always so beautiful and green.
