Christmas time

Christmas was another great traveling time! Cassie, myself, and two girls from her home area drove with us to down to LA area. We left Friday afternoon drove to Provo, UT. Stayed there for a night then headed out in the morning. We arrived around 6. The whole way to California we were followed by a wind storm. We pulled off in Vegas Landing to fill up on gas, but we couldn't even see the stop light it was so sandy. So we just continued on.

I stayed at Cassie's house for a few days. We had a great time relaxing, sleeping in and playing rockband. I really enjoyed staying at her house. She took me to the airport on Monday. I had a feeling that there would be problems with my flight, and I was right. Checking in was fine, I went to my gate and saw the flight was delayed 10 minutes, so I went into the gift store across the way and did a little shopping. I came and sat down when I noticed that my flight said it was CANCELED. I went to see what I could do to get on another flight. There was one going to Oakland that I could get on but they wouldn't transfer my bags over. So I had to wait till 645, my original flight was supposed to leave at 430. So only a little delay, but for some reason I keep having bad luck with flying. I'm just grateful that it didn't take me two days to get home.

Christmas was great! spending time with most of my family only happens once or twice a year. We spent Christmas morning opening presents and relaxing. That afternoon Grandma, John and Leslie and the kids came up. We went out to the movies, ate, and played games all day! The next morning we played our white elephant game. It was hilarious! We all just went around our houses finding things that we don't use or need and wrapped them.
